Where do you get 30 thousand dollars? That's about what I made in an entire year as a
corporate videographer. It would take years for me to save up that kind of money.
However, sans student loans and expenses, even my brother-in-law is earning twice that
his first year as an *intern* at a hospital in his first year out of I.U. Medical School with his M.D.
His father was in family practice and I would well expect by brother-in-law to earn a full doctor's wage
in about two years. My sister is a Registered Nurse and works two days a week as a
supervisor and earns nearly twice as much--working two days a week as a nurse--than
I did as a videographer.
Now, I really have to question the logic in working as a video guy, when
for investing a couple of additional years in college I could earn twice that wage as a male nurse.
Seriously, then--and only then--could I save the 30K to make my movie. My sister informs me
there are actually many opportunities to travel in nursing--working four weeks here or three
months there--and all your living expenses are paid, plus a large contract salary. Sounds like a
lot more fun and sensical than being a video guy. However, I do not feel a call to medicine as
others in my family and intend to pursue business/finance. But, that's just me.. Basically, I'm
with Shaw on this one.

Wells bro...what the HELL are you talking about?
I think you misinterpreted me.
I meant *SAVE* the money you *WOULD* have used for film skool over the course of 2-4 years....whatever it may be....and use that money. I didn't mean.....Save 30K in a year.
Most Film programs I know of around my State (NC) offer 2 and 4 year courses. I say pass on that.....save money and develop a script in that *2 to 4 years*....then make your movie.
**** son....If I could save 30K in a year....I wouldn't be in here with "youz crazy gusyz"!!
I'd be in Beverly Hillz sippin' on a 40oz of Christal!! SHeeeeeeeee it!!.........
......But I can't save that kind of money, because I don't *MAKE* that kind of money to be saved....hence I'm here flapping my gums. Or Fingers as it may be.
