Wordpress Site Hacked

Just a note to others using wordpress. My site was hacked over the weekend. I called my host and they said it had happened to a lot of sites. So make sure your wordpress versions are current.
 
Happened to me a year ago, I moved my stuff to their hosted site where they upgrade it themselves. But you can't have ads on that site. So while I've been happy and not worked so hard on upgrades, I'm going back to handling my own site again soon. But yes, you have to really pay attention to the fact that these applications have serious holes and if you don't stay on top of the rather complicated upgrade process, your site dies and the recovery is a pain.

Happened to me too. Had to call inmotion to restore my server.

Did someone attempt to hack your FTP server too? (And was it from Russia? If so, we're hacked wordpress buddies :D )
