Woody Allen a Documentary

I saw this the other day on Netflix streaming and it was surprisingly well done. What made it unique was the fact that Woody Allen gave the filmmakers full access to his life and yet it was not a fluff piece. I truly enjoyed it.

Yeah saw it a while back and it's a great doc. It was the first time I really glimpsed that the 'Woody' we all know, in the movies and from his public persona, is just a character he plays. He is actually a more serious, reflective person and not the neurotic we all assume him to be.

really like his movies, seriously dislike the man... so much that I purposefully avoid his films now. I guess this wouldn't be "his" film, perhaps...

Nope. Do you? Do you personally know any public figure that you dislike, or have you just come to dislike them by their public actions?

Even discounting "unproven" accusations, Allen is creepy - IMO - and I do my best to avoid supporting him financially. Same with Roman Polanski - great filmmaker, awful human.
