"Woodlawn" - a production diary- episodes 1-7

Woodlawn is a big budget, faith based football film that should be released later this year. Just a few years ago, the Erwin brothers (the directors) were producing high end music videos and commercials. They had no narrative experience. With a couple of features under their belt, they are now embarking on making a "Hollywood" level feature (see episode # 1 if you doubt that). Wanting to help other filmmakers have an understanding of the production process on a larger film, Jon Erwin has put a production diary on Youtube. Episode 1:

Episode 2:

This one is extremely interesting to me because I saw an advance screener , unfinished, a few days ago. Imagine watching a football movie, filmed in a huge stadium, with virtually no one in the bleachers! All the vacant space is to be filled in later in post digitally. This episode shows how they filled a small area with about 150 people, with dummies made by the prop department in between them.
