Just saw this tonight to make up for Munich...

just kidding.

Well, it was definitely shot on digital. probably a varicam.. anyone know?

sorta pixelated and jaggedy on 35mm when I saw it tonight. it was bothering
the heck out of me.

but it felt right for the film. kinda like 28 days later...

some 30 people walked out in the middle of the movie...

And isn't he the guy that gave "last house on the left" four stars???!!
I love when critics contradict themselves. Stupid critics.

Actually he addressed the fact that he gave that movie four stars when talking about his zero star rating for a movie called Chaos: http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050811/REVIEWS/508110303/1023

To get to what I'm talking about, you have to read the review and the related articles.

I personally still like Ebert, even if sometimes it seems he's slipping into senility (he gave Cheaper by the Dozen 2 three stars).

A friend of mine told me wolf creek was actually boring. He said that it was about torture, but there was very little of it.

Hostel still looks sweet though.
