OK. I have researched codecs, read books and I still suffer issues. The annoyance of my life. Any codecs that run native on mac I never have an issue with. Its only when I do a web output for a client who turns around and says Windows Media Player anyone?
So on my export menu I choose quicktime conversion, select wmv adjust some settings and bang. It works fine. Insofar as it only converts 30 seconds of my intended 20 minutes.
Now I sit here and type (not home right now) I wonder if the codec is from a piece of trial software with a limiter on it.
Anyway if thats the case any recommendations on plugin to do this? Or an existing process. I want to put this little drama behind me, I dont care if I need to purchase something.
Cheers.
EDIT: Just checked my macbook pro that is with me and from memory it seems that I did install a demo of flip4mac. http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_studio.htm anyone using this? Something better out there?
So scratch that I ordered the above.
ANyway something I could use help on hmm new thread. This one stinks of WMV.
