wmv to avi or mov

I feel really stupid when it comes to these...

Have an AVI 1.5GB demo movie and a 10MB WMV Version. want to upload it to my site that will accept AVI, MOV, MPEG movies.

What do I do next... Need free solutions that does not require much knowledge.

You can write a simple code for the .wmv that will let you stream it; ask any web design, computer science enthusiast and they can help you. Alternatively, put the .avi file into an NLE like Final Cut Pro and render out again in .mov.

What I did: Loaded the 1.5GB AVI to Movie Maker, It converted the movie to WMV
65MB. Loaded it to YouTube and linked to my site.
I feel so clever...
