Does Final Cut Pro support the Windows Media Video format?
No, you will need to purchase a third party application such as Sorenson Squeeze or Media Cleaner Pro. Both of these applications allow you to convert and / or create a variety of different multi-media formats. The easiet way to use them, is to simply export a QuickTime reference movie and load it into either applciation. Both products have demo versions available for download on their websites.
There is also this program http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv.htm but it's not cheap...
