Wireless video...

I am hoping to pick up a Sony GVD1000 MiniDV deck pretty soon. I am just wondering if I am on a shoot, is there a way to run wireless video from the camera to this little deck for someone like the Director or A.D. to watch. I have seen little decks like this being used on various Music Video shoots but I didn't know how they ran video to those decks except for wireless.

I could always run a cable out of the camera straight to the deck. So if I went the wireless route. Would I hook a transmitter up to the camera and a receiver to the deck?

I bought a wireless security camera that sent video over a RCA thing that you could use by unpluggin the included pinhole camera and put it on the DVX.. its was $18 from Ebay via hong kong, and it worked not bad... i saw the exact camera at NAB a few months later they where hawking for 150 bucks... nice profit.

On Jarred's recommendation I got one of those as well. Haven't used it on a gig, but just playing around with it I was kind of surprised at how well it did. I mean, for $18...
