I’ve a Came TV Prodigy gimbal and there is a small box with an aerial under the camera plate to transmit wireless video. This is very important for me as I’m mounting it on a Steadicam but it only needs to transmit to the mount on the arm so 4-5 feet at the most. I’ve never bought a wireless system before but I’m aware of how expensive this can get and I’m really not looking for a complete system, I just need to get this one small monitor up and running. I’ve seen the DIY systems using budget consumer products like the Nyrius HDMI video transmitter and receiver and was wondering if I could buy one of these and just use the receiver, would this work? Dose a receiver from one system work with the transmitter from another?
