Off Topic meaning any topic right?
I have two keypads (may be more at a later date) a laptop running a program.
Laptop is in Room 1 and the keypads in Room 2 and Room 3.
I want to have them connected to a laptop from the different rooms.
This setup would move around quiet a lot and I would prefer not to use routers to stay as mobile as possible.
So as I cannot anticipate how different locations walls, obstacles etc would interfere with a signal, the connection would have to be very robust,
The connection doesn't have to move data.....just the connection of the keypads to the laptop.
From what I read Wireless USB isn't very good in it's present state.
Reviews on USB Hubs do not give me confidence to go out and buy any of them.
I know people are going to say a network is the best way.
