Wireless reciever mount for HVX

you could use a rycote hot shoe extension or a three hot shoe tree a guy on the marketplace thread is selling one now for 30 bucks.

I was hoping to find something that would offset to the right rear of the camera. Also, if you mount to the hot shoe, how does that affect tripod mounting of the camera?? Thanks
 
well as far as the hotshoe extension you mount it down the mid so the wieght is even and it shouldnt be too front as far as the tree mount ive never used it but it seems it could be sturdy i guess it would depend on how much stuff you put on it. ive seen ppl put the wireless box on the handstrap on the tape deck you may wanna consider that as well. the b.e.c group sells a plate that goes under the cam and comes up near the front end of the cam you may want to look at that also.
