UHF or VHF?

Ill be using for alot of different projects, so i need something versitile.

Just trying to decide on whether UHF or VHF will work in most situations...

Forget VHF... it is dead. I was a big proponent of VHF a couple years ago... I thought my logic was rock solid because there are VHF "islands" that are being abandoned and meanwhile UHF frequencies are completely filling up. I had Lectro 187 sets back then so it wasn't like I was defending VHF while using $100 wireless sets... these were industry standard wireless sets for years... but when I got my first G2 set I couldn't believe that it would outperform the VHF Lectros... but it did... in EVERY situation. I sold my VHF Lectros immediately and I concluded that VHF is dead. Do I need to say it again? Say it with me... "VHF is dead".
