Wireless mics

[samuelreich]

Hi, guys. New to this forum and want to quickly say how useful it is and offer my thanks.

I'm now recording sound with an Azden SGM-2X and boom. I'm not ready to record seperately, but am wondering if I can somehow go wireless. Anyone know of such hardware?

Thanks again.

Re: Wireless mics

Thanks, wabbit. Do these attach to the actors' lapels? I'll also try posting in audo.

Re: Wireless mics

Oh, I misunderstood your question. :-[ I thought you were looking for a way to run the shotgun mic signal wirelessly to the camera. Do you want a wireless unit for lav mics (the tiny ones that hide in clothes)?

Re: Wireless mics

Wabbit, yes! Any suggestions? I'm sorry I phrased the question badly. Also looking for a good recommendation for these LAV mics.
