Hello-

I am interested in purchasing a wireless lavalier microphone for a documentary shoot I am doing. What price can I expect to pay? What kind of quality can I expect in the $300/range? I'm looking to purchase something for this weekend from B&H. Any help would be appreciated. I am shooting with an HVX200.

Thanks!

Eugene

lectrosonics and zaxcom after that. Like Allen said, I'd hesitate to go any lower than the g2 for good reliable sound. Lots of threads on this already if you need more info.

If you need them quickly, this won't help, but you can also look for used Lectrosonics in the 2xx series that will serve you fairly well - but may still be out of your price range even used. Keep in mind that with any wireless set, you will also need to replace the stock microphone that it comes with. For the G2's, take a look at the Countryman EMW - that's about the best value you'll find.
