Im interested in purchasing a "decent" Wireless Mic that will bring a nice recording. Just a nice wireless lava system. Something no more than $400 or less. I have been looking at some, but as Im new to the audio industry, Im a bit confused how the transmittion will work with my camera: XH G1. How will the audio be transmitted on to the camera? If someone can answer this that will be great!

I was looking at this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/564454-REG/Azden_105LT_105LT_105_Series.html

what do you think?

i really suggest you use the search function
to find mic's discussed.

Its almost an everyday thing.

Short answer, Sennheiser G2.
dont buy anything audio related from the brand you listed.

as far as how it works..

the "talent" wears a microphone attached to a "transmitter"

you have a "receiver" mounted on or near your camera which outputs the signal
and you plug it into the input of your camera.

What Rippie said.

The G2 is as cheap as you want to go, and even then the stock lav isn't anything to write home about.

They are now making only the G3 new version of the G2... Shipping mid June.

Check out Countryman Associates for the B3 or B6 Lavs... Way better than the stock SEnnheiser Me1... POS>>>

Good luck.

Worse than people make it out to be when you compare it with a good, high quality lav. Even an EMW from Countryman blows away the ME2 or ME4.
