I'm about to start shooting a doc that will focus on one character, and I anticipate following him around both indoors and outdoors (which will include a lot of cold, WINDY winter shoots). Can anyone give me some advice on wireless lavs for a run and gun documentary?
I'm not working with a budget beyond what's in my pocket (yet), so I guess I would hope to be able to get something decent in the $500 range, but I may be willing to go higher, depending on the degree to which price increases mean quality increases.
Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.
