Wireless LAV for $100???

What do you guys think of this? I feel like $100 for a wireless LAV means either it is a shoddy made LAV or I am missing something.

Looks like a piece of junk. The issue with most extremely cheap wireless solutions is that the sound quality is absolute junk and they are prone to dropouts and breaking. I wouldn't trust that type of solution at all. If you need super cheap lavs, get wired ones: they sound great and they are more reliable than any wireless available.

If you want to get rid of $100, at least give it to a good cause.

Decent wireless is going to run you $600+ per channel minimum, plus the cost of the mic.

Even if it weren't a toy, you had better use it quick. It will be illegal after 12-June-2010. But it will probably break before then anyway, so it is a moot point (except for your $100)
