Wireless Lav Choices for Kodak ZI8

just got a zi8 to shoot a "sort of" undercover or at least smaller camera to stay unobtrusive on subjects type mini doc... anyway, the narrator will need to be mic up but i need him to be wireless so i don't have to worry about my distance to him or tripping him up while he is on the streets... could someone recommend a decently priced wireless lav system that has the proper input size for the zi8 (which i believe is just a 1/8 headphone jack size).

wow, i never knew one of those "flip" type cams had mic inputs. thats kinda sweet.

this isn't what you want to hear but the minimum most of us on here would suggest is the Sennheiser G3 kit, which is $600.

there are plenty of other lower cost alternatives but no one would suggest you waster your money on those.

but one thing that does suck is the camera's lack of headphone jack, so you can't monitor your audio coming in to make sure you're not getting an frequency hits. there may be some sort of splitter/booster you could get but i'm not aware of any.
 
i'm an idiot... i'll just use a zoom h4n... still not exactly what i was wanting to do and still will eventually need a lav system but should get the job done for this project
