Wireless Hat Camera?

I work for a country/rock singer who wants to put a tiny video camera in the lining of his hat so the audience can see what he sees. He'll probably want it to be able to be recorded and saved for later as well as the possibility of having it streamed live to screens onstage.

I have a background in video production and editing but this little hat cam is a new one on me. I'm not sure if there's something out there made for this purpose already or if I should start looking at little spy cams and surveillance gear.

Does anyone have any thoughts...please?

Google lipstick cameras and helmet cameras. Sony showed a lipstick camera at NAB this year that had a small recorder that was about the size of an iPhone.

If the singer wants the video to hit the IMAG screens live during the show that's a different beast altogether. Seeing as most entertainers don't want to be tethered, it means utilizing an expensive RF system to transmit the signal.
