Wireless Frequency Range?

I know this is probably a stupid question but I am new to this. I have a Sony UWP-C1 (66) (782 to 806 MHz). I want to buy another to run at the same time. Should I go with the same Frequency Range? Or should I get Sony UWP-C1 (62) (758 to 782 MHz)? Like I said I want to run them at the same time into one camera but different inputs.

Better (?) radio mic systems will have the actual channels grouped in the transmitters and recievers so that the individual channels in each group can be used at the same time without interference. I think your system has this (take a look at the manual). In that case it is better to get another of the same frequency, then you need not to worry about getting the transmitters and recievers getting mixed up, as they all work together.

Of course a new set working at another frequency range would also work, but it would not be as convenient.

either or... i also have uwp's. i have different frequency blocks, but you could get the same and use in a group.

word of warning: the g2 system costs the same and works a lot better than the UWP system. I had one UWP, and was deciding whether to get another UWP or a G2 and in the end went with the UWP.. but I wish Id bought G2 rather.

Just my opinion.. the real issue is the continuity between different systems. at the end of the day, though, I could have saved myself $500.
