Wireless frequency for Sennheiser

I am planning to get a Sennheiser wireless and want to plug in directly to my c300 or to SD 702T when required. However, I am not sure which frequency is relevant for India. Any ideas which one to pick up? I have read in this forum that there are fakes existing. So that makes me nervous.

Check with the government to see which channels are and are not legal to use and then select the channel block accordingly.
Yes, there are counterfeits about, purchase from a reputable dealer.

Contact Sennheiser India and talk to them direct.

Go HERE and click on "India".

Sennheiser India's website is HERE.

Thanks John!

I finally got the Sennheiser ew 100 p g3. There is a small hook. I understand the mic goes into the bigger one and no idea why there is a tiny hook.

I remember you had mentioned earlier about creating a loop moving upwards and then down to decouple the noise. No idea how to do it as the wire might get damaged. I am trying to tie it together with a cloth or thread. I have got an omni lav microphone with the bundle.

I am planning to use the lavalier on a person walking. Will there be noise?

If you mean the very small loop that is about 1.5 mm across next to the larger one that the ME2 capsule is fitted it is just there to allow you to gently squeeze the metal clip to allow the ME2 to be inserted.

Sometimes they are the same way round as the main loop but some clips have them at 90 degrees like the one pictured which makes more sense if they are to be used to expand the main loop.
