I have the Teletest 7 inch monitor,

and they do sell a wireless transmitter and receiver so that the director doesn't have to be tethered to a cable. but its a lot of money, £700 plus VAT ($1500)

So is there a device out there at a sensible price, which transmits from the camera to a receiver, which can plug into the monitor?

Obviously has to be 12 volt.
Thanks in advance.

Wow! That thing is cool. I don't know if you're going to find a sensibly priced wireless video transmitter but I really like the look of that thing.

Hi Guys,
Well I'm not much help but to say Don't buy the Laird Wave Shot. I have tried 3 of them over the years and they are Very low quality. I always return them.

FWIW,
Steve
HO Ho ...

Yeah, if you're looking for anything of any measure of quality, you're going to pay for it. Most wireless video transmitters are decent at best, and they're ass-expensive. If you find a cheap one, I shudder to think what you're image is going to look like.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will stick with the Teletest setup. Costs about $1400 but is high quality and works! It's virtually the industry standard in the UK, and often seen being used on the BBC
