Wireless connection on DVX100A

Hey guys,

Getting everything together for a shoot at the end of the month and need some info please. Can anyone tell me which cable I need to connect my AT Pro 88W wireless mics to my DVX100A ? I used the mic system with my GL2 before buying the DVX but haven't used it with the DVX. I think I need this type of connector, right ? I'm looking at several cables on the B&H website but don't have a clue which one I need. Looking at the Hosa Mini Stereo male to 3 pin XLR female(connects mono microphones to stereo camera inputs), the Hosa Mini Stereo male to the 3 pin XLR female, the Hosa mini stereo male to 3 pin XLR female(for AT-822 and stereo mics with 3 pin XLR) or one of the Comprehensive EXF series stereo mini male to 3 pin XLR cable ?

Also purchasing a long XLR cable to connect to my Rode mic on a matthews arm or boom. I'm looking at the Canare Star-Quad L-4e6s with 3 pin XLR male to 3 pin XLR female Neutrik black/gold connectors in 25 feet. Do you guys think a 25 foot cable will work for most interviews, should I go longer and am I purchasing the right cable ?

Sorry for the ignorance on my part... I'm learning as I go from you guys. I searched the forums but couldn't find anything that directly relates.

Thanks in advance for any info. I really appreciate the wisdom and sharing on this site.

You want the Audio Technica transformer balancing cable, part number CP8306, purpose-built to use the Pro 88 receiver with balanced XLR inputs.

If you think sometimes you might need more than 25 feet of cable on your boom mic, why not get 2? If you need a longer cable run, join 'em end-to-end. You should always have a spare on set anyway as cables do break.

Thanks Steve !! That's exactly what I needed to know.. Gonna place the order with B&H today.. Hadn't even thought about getting two XLR cables and putting them together.

Thanks again..

Dog,
You may also call Trew, Coffey sound or Location Sound. These guys specialize in sound for film/video and they can get you set up. I deal with Trew and they are always very helpful.
good luck
