wireless audio frequencies

I'm thinking about getting a better wireless lav system. The Sennheiser G2 is looking pretty good, but there's like four or five versions. Each using a different range of frequencies. How do I choose one?

Re: wireless audio frequencies

What if you're in a different town everytime you shoot? I'll read those links that you posted, but out of the following choices, is there one that's best for the US overall?

A 518-554 MHz
B 626-662 MHz
C 740-776 MHz

Which one is more free than the others?

You're going to have to gamble with the rest of us... or else take a look at the Lectro site and look at each city you plan to shoot in. Go with the least congested frequency block for the cities you visit.

With VHF they used to have what they called "travelling frequencies" and I went with a couple of those... but I've still had occasions where one of 'em didn't work.
