Wire removal or motion tracking?

[Norm Sanders]

Sorry for the slew of questions tonight ...

I've always thought of Vegas as the perfect combination of editing, after effects, etc.

Since After Effects offers motion tracking, to where you can supposedly just mark your subject, and the program will track it for you automatically after that, does Vegas offer that solution? If so, how?

Also, is there a simple tool in Vegas for wire removal?

not that i have found.. but there are some pretty good programs that can do it that are standalone.

Any suggestions, Jarred? Am I right that After Effects can do both of those? If you've got any suggestions of effective programs that are just as easy to learn as Vegas, I'm really interested. Thanks!
