Wire removal in Vegas

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to do wire removal within Sony Vegas 9. Is there any sort of plugin I can get?

Instead of Gimp, try Cinepaint which is an offshoot project from Gimp designed specifically for this kind of task.

The Windows version is not yet out, but you can download Ubuntu Studio for free, create a boot DVD, and just boot your computer into Ubuntu Linux for your CinePaint work.

I'm hoping it will let me have a reasonable editor on my home machines since they are not Avid spec. If I can do some basic cutting at home, and share those projects with the Avid at the office, I am going to be thrilled. And the newsletter was very nice indeed.

I wonder what this means?

MULTI-CHANNEL INGEST
Lightworks is the only NLE available to offer multi-channel ingest, with support for synchronised capture, making it ideal for advanced 3D Stereoscopic projects.

Live capture from two simultaneous cameras?

Maybe not "live", but perhaps simultaneous? As in, you have two cameras or recording units that are locked together with timecode, and this program lets you ingest both at the same time? In order to do that, you'd need to have the hardware to support it though.

It depends on how the scene is. Sometimes you only need to extract one frame remove the wires in a photoeditor. Then place the frame in its own track, and then cut out the wires in the orginal track. (And of course adjust the 2 tracks to each other)
