Hey guys. Looks like we'll be needing another RV or Winnebago for our shoot. The one we have was donated.

Anyone know of a good RV rental joint, that's reasonably priced? Bottom of the barrel is fine, as our budget is running on empty. Or, if any of you guys have one or know someone who does, we could talk shop. I googled it, but found one's that were out of our price range. We're in San Diego by the way, and need it for our second and third week, Jan 11th-23rd.

RV rentals are unbelievably high. Like I mean sick. With your short time frame I would call everyone you know and have them call everyone they know... and find one to borrow.

Yes, rental rates are high, PLUS they charge an extra fee for clean-up. Do a google search for RV rentals and you will see what I mean. Paying someone you know (or can find) a hundred bucks or so to use something sitting in their driveway is probably a better way to go. Sometimes private owners advertise to rent in local papers. You might try that.

Good ideas, yeah those rates are rediculous. We're putting the feelers out. We're thinking a couple hundred, plus a point offer on the back-end, film credit, blah, blah. Thanks for the ideas.

Not to be a stickler or anything, but I replied to your post about needing help around the set and never got a response back. I could have supplied my bands touring RV had you told me sooner. ;)

I emailed it to you. I loved your website and thought, Man! I would love to hang out with those guys and watch em' do their thing. Figured I could learn a thing or two. But I am only 21 and you stated you needed someone OVER 21, so I figured that was why. Good luck either way with the RV and please keep me/us posted on the progress of your movie! Tim.

Sorry about that, Tim. You're not the first e-mail that slipped by me. We've crewed up already or I'd extend the offer, my appologies for not getting back to you. The 21 thing would have been fine. We were just looking for some basic maturity, there's some large scale nude scenes in the desert, and we just felt it best to have PA's that were at least 21, able to handle the scenes.
