F3: Wine TVC packshot

First grab - The product gets lost in the white background so that it isn't featured. One's eye is drawn to the red phone and blue lamp. The cluttered desk and the messy jar of pencils is distracting me away from the product.

Second grab - The product looks to be on the floor, which feels awkward. The bright rim light once again distracts me from the product. I can't make out what the items in the background are so I lose the context of what your telling me about the product.

First shot the glass and the wine altough they are in the centre of the frame and in focus the composition isn't allowing them to pop out. I agree with Paul, they get lost. The second shot does this better but still not to good. It's a tricky thing, working with glass:) And I also agree with the argument about the floor... As for the box - you aren0t doing it any favours in therms of standing out in the frame. The box uses natural colours (white and yellowish) and so does the background. In the first frame my eyes actually go to the red phone and the blue lamp before they go to the box.

I'm very pleased with these and it's only a quick grade to bring levels in the right direction to show these frames. The shots are actually moving from left to right so that the box reveals in frame and I'm excited to see what the director edits together :)
