I didn't know where to post this, but I have gone in to the different forums.
It seems as all the Video Editing programs were having problems with the SP2 upgrade. I found that when I turned off the Firewall by clicking on the sheild at the bottom of you computer, it will be either Green or Red, on it, I go to the bottom of the Windows Security Screen,where it says "Manage Security Settings" click on "Windows Firewall", first try clicking the Advanced folder at the top, Under Network connections make sure there is a check in the 1394 Connection. If that doesn't work then go back to the Firewall, and in the General Folder select the red shield and turn off the firewall.
If that doesn't work you won't be able to use SP2 until your particular software has an update patch.
