Window Layouts

I accidently closed my canvas window so it left the screen completely and when it did, the timeline left as well. Now the good thing is that there was nothing on the timeline yet. However, I am unclear how to bring it back up. When I clicked on Window in the top menu, Canvas, Tool Bench and Timeline were all grayed out. Any suggestions. Also I saved my window layouts for a previous project and when I clicked Restore window layouts it just added the tool bench but no canvas or timeline showed up.

Do you have a project open?
Do you (did you) have a 2nd monitor?
Have you looked under the dock (bottom of monitor) or on the dock (reduced)
Try the normal window presets they have.

yea I tried all of that...I didn't look under the dock though. What I did do that worked was just opened up a new sequence and I will have to edit my project in that sequence instead.

Did you try re-opening the sequence that you were editing before (i.e. double-clicking it)? Seems to me that you'd have a stray sequence that's not being used ...

Yea I probably do have a stray sequence...not sure how to find it now though...there was nothing on the timeline so its all good.

If it's anywhere, it'd be in your bin.
