Wimbledon

This is the weirdest Wimbledon ever. There's a palpable feeling that anything can happen, and so far, pretty much anything and everything has. The women's side has been insane.

Big surprises on the men's side, too. Astounding that Roddick lost. Expect great things from Djokovic in the near future.

(*spoilers if you haven't heard the results*)

The odds favor Federer tomorrow, but Nadal's on a steamroll. Should be a fantastic match. It'll most likely come down to who wants it more.

I'm actually playing tennis for the first time in my life tomorrow.

I hope I'll get to see the match.

SPECTACULAR second set. THIS is a real tennis match!

After this tournament, the future of men's tennis looks a LOT less boring . . .

I don't think so. Federer didn't last year, and it was generally accepted that Nadal let his nerves keep him out of the whole first set then, otherwise it would have been a closer match. Nerves don't seem to be a problem this year.

The longer it goes on, the more you have to favor Nadal. He's just got more experience in long matches, and his fitness level is unbelieveable.

If this goes five sets, as it looks likely to now, this will be one of the GREAT finals. THIS is why you watch tennis.

Each player gets to challenge three line calls per set, and there's an electronic replay. The results of it are deemed final.

Federer has gotten the raw end of most of the challenges in this match, and one was on an important point. He's visibly frustrated over it right now.

I'd probably learn a bit more by listening to the analysts, but I've got the television sound turned down and I'm listening to CaptMench's new album. :)

Nadal's knee may now well be a factor. Up until that point, Nadal could see winning, and more importantly, Federer could see losing. Nadal had the mental edge. Does he still? Looks like he's about the close out the set.

The fifth set may be one of the best sets ever played. We'll see . . .
