Well i'm going to be shooting a micro-budget feature on the dvx soon and wondered if the rode nt3 hyper cariod would be a decent mic for interior shots so please tell me what you think or please reccomend other mics that you think will do the job better!!!!!!

I used the NT3 when I was doing sound for a friend's short film shoot the past two weekends. Pretty good mic, I liked the tone the mic gave the actors' voices, very warm sounding.

However, a little expensive and VERY heavy. You'll need to have a good workout before holding that baby on a boompole for an entire shooting day (I managed without the working out, but I highly recommend it). But there a better hypercardioid mics for less, like the Oktava.
