Will this light fixture work in a 220v country?

Looking on eBay at a Chinese flourescent softbox kit (from a US seller), and the back of the fixture which holds 4 flourescents says 110/240v 50/60hz, so I am wondering if I use them with proper 220v bulbs and a prong adapter to plug into a 220v outlet, if that would work. Seems to me it would.

Here is a photo from the eBay listing

According to those specs it should work.

If you're planning on traveling with CFL bulbs note they are notoriously fragile. Consider packing them like expensive lenses & due to their mercury content, either keeping them in their original packaging, or inside individual ziplock baggies, in case they break. There isn't a lot of mercury in each CFL but you still don't want to be handling it, or have it coating your cases.
