Will more RAM help?

I am not able to view clips without the jurking, jumping or stopping. Will more RAM help? Or is there another solution?

OS 10.4.9
MAC Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5
512 MB DDR SDRAM
160 GB HD/44 GB available
Lacie 160 GB/109 GB available

oh ya. you should be running about 2gb in that machine. ram is on the cheap now adays.

um yeah... you really can't do much with only 512.

Powermacs should have at least 2gb of RAM when using pro apps like FCP.

I suspect you are using USB as your connection?
