I've seen a few tidbits about humidity and how it can cause condensation if you just walk into your hotel room after being outside, or vise versa.
I'm going to KAUAI in ten days for about two weeks and plan on shooting at least a good 10 hours of footage and am a bit worried about damaging my new camera.
Some one mentioned letting the camera slowly adjust to the different environment? But NO mention of HOW to let the camera acclimate so that there is no condensation.
I'm also getting ready to buy a backpack for the thing. As of right now I'm looking at two different options.
LOWEPRO: Pro Trekker AW II
LOWEPRO: Rover Plus AW
when I used to shoot stills a lot I had a LOWEPRO similiar to the Rover plus where the top part of the bag basically flips off so the camera sits down in the bottom sitting flat as it would on your desk.
A bit worried about the dimensions of the Rover though and I think the Pro Trekker offers more protection, but seems like it might be a bit big for hiking around Kauai for two weeks.
Any help / advice / opinions are appreciated.
Thanks,
T
