Will Adobe be adding more video cards compatible with CS5 Mercury?

This is a question I'd like to ask on the Adobe forums but for some strange reason I can't gain access there even though I've been registered for years (and of course Adobe doesn't list an email address I can use to get help).

Anyhow, I was wondering if someone here has heard if Adobe will be adding more video cards to the list of compatible cards that can use the Mercury/Cuda option. The lowest price one (GTX 285) is very hard to find and not even listed on some websites, as if NVIDIA is discontinuing it.

I know you can do the hack to make almost any NVIDIA card work but if Adobe is updating their card list soon I might just wait for that.

Adobe Gave me a cryptic answer at NAB when I asked them about future video card support. They said that they would evaulate cards later in the future and add them if they pass Adobe's certification test.

I wouldn't worry about official support from Adobe. Most people are running other "unsupported" nvidia GPUs with mercury Engine with little problems. Anything with more than 1gb of ram seems to get a performance increase.

I've heard rumors of an update but don't know exactly when that is supposed to happen.

I went ahead and grabbed a GTX470 with the hack and it works great. I can do things in PP now that I used to go to After Effects for... pretty sweet!

An Adobe rep on their forums did say that they would not disable the hack for unapproved cards if that eases your mind.
