Will .8x WA work with matte box?

Hi,

I am planning to get a Formatt mattebox for my DVX100. My concern is whether it will work with the .8 WA adaptor. Can anyone give me an answer?

no. its hard enough to get the formatt to work without the WA.

What do u mean? Formatt's mattebox does not work well with DVX100? What are the issues? If you can be specific you can help me make an informed and educated decision in getting a mattebox for DVX100.

as mentioned before, you need to buy a few extra pieced to make it not vignette at full wide with the stock lens. It is a good mattebox though besides that fact, and I actually just discovered by accident that it has a quick release thing that you can pop it off and on without having to undo any bolts or threads that is kinda nice.

Odd. My Formatt doesn't vignette (even with underscanning on my monitor) at all with the stock lens. I'm using a (one) Formatt adapter ring...
