Wii

When I was younger, I saved up to buy an 8 bit Nintendo for one game only: The Legend Of Zelda. As it stands now, I'd probably get a Wii just so I could play Zelda Twilight Princess. My wife had one in her hands and almost got me one for Christmas, but then put it back because she remembered that I'm trying to save money for a Mac and Final Cut Pro, and I'd rather put the money toward that. What a great wife!
 
I LOVE it!!!

It's worth it because the games are so accessible (for young and old). The Wii has resparked my interest in games. I can hardly wait to see what kind of games the developers can make using this new tech.

Nintendo has hit a home run.
 
I agree, and the best part is that both the XBOX and PS3 are loosing money on each box they sell, and the Nintendo is the only one making a profit.
 
Now I can't find the component cable anywhere for the Wii.

I'm chomping at the bit to play Zelda in 480p.

Anyone find the component cable?
 
ThreeBoys and Dad LOVE the Wii...

Rayman is a blast!! Uses the full extent of all the gimmics you can think of for the Wiimotes.

I especially love wacking the rabbits on the head with the hammer!!

Not easy to get--that's for sure. I had to do some serious recon to find one, but it's absolutely worth it. As I type, the GF is still playing Elebits and will continue late into the night. :) My kids think it's great and it's amazing that any game exists that can be equally enjoyed by a seven year old and a forty something. I got my component cable directly from Nintendo--gotta have my 480p. The controllers and console concept are sheer genius. Sony and Microsoft are about to get left in the dust because they couldn't even conceive of a system that appeals to more than a thin demographic slice (young males).
 
The Wii rocks. I've been playing Wii sports like crazy. I have my pro status. The Zelda game is interesting. I've only played about an hour so far.

Long live Nintendo!
 
Super Mario 64 NEVER looked so good as it does on Wii. If you have your Wii setup for component out you can get 480p from the SM64 virtual console download.

Wii is just terrific entertainment.
