some thoughts on the video:
the shield pose demo looked like the kind of shovelware that has plagued the wii.
legend of zelda looks like a perfect fit for this controller. i love how you can toggle through your items with the touchscreen.
mario in hd. that alone is enough for me to buy this system. but i wish they showed a mario 64 type game running in 1080p.
chase mii looks like a fun party game that i can play with my kids.
overall i'd say it's a mixed bag for me. i'm happy that nintendo is trying something new that we haven't seen in a console before. it's always good to see companies pushing the envelope. i do have some fear that developers will treat the new controller as somewhat of a gimmick. it will be more complicated to port games over to nintendo and that could be a problem. the fact that the release is next year but they really don't have any games for it yet is a problem. developing something of quality takes time, especially if it's for new hardware.
even with the doubts, i'll still be getting one the first day. it's a new nintendo after all. :thumbsup:
