I'm thinking of buying one and I was hoping for some feedback. Do you guys like yours? Is it important to have two nunchucks? Any feedback will be appreciated.

I just played one for the first time yesterday and I was disappointed. Some games were OK but sensor does not work very well. There was a boxing game that hardly worked and just annoyed me.

I bought one for my kids for Christmas and I can honestly say it's become an entertainment mecca in our home. It does alot more than play games.

You'll only need a second nun chuck if you're boxing against a live opponent (currently). Nunchucks and controllers are all over so if you need one, they are not hard to find. The console plays Wii, Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Sega, Super Ninetendo, NES, TuboGraphix 16 games.

there is alot to like about it.

I love mine. My wife is playing it right now as a matter of fact. There is a limited number of games on it now, but more are coming, and soon. Plus I've dumped an embarrasing amount on the Virtual Console. Buying old NES games again is just too much fun.

I'd also have to argue that the sensor works quite well and Wii boxing isn't just a game, it's a workout regiment.

Simply said it is the greatest thing EVER.

I am serious. from a total video game expert, owning trillions of games and systems the Wii is by far the wisest choice for gaming entertainment around.

2 wiimotes, 2 nunchuks. Wii Sports, Warioware, Zelda , 3 games NEEDED immediately by you!

It depends on the game. I played the Wii a bit and heard from friends. I really enjoyed it. The Wii sports for example, the controller is very sensitive. It's not like you can just swing your controller anywhere and expect it to do exactly what you want, which is why it's a very good technology. Once you get used to it you realize how accurate the wii controllers are.

I've heard of two games to stay away from though. First is red steel. It was advertised, but I heard the controls sometimes go crazy in that game. On the other hand I heard COD3 is pretty good with the controls. Another one is Excite Truck. I heard the sterring is way too sensitive, but I heard it's so you can do crazy spins in the air.

Just be sure to check out reviews for the games before you buy them to find out if they use the controllers to it's full advantage.

It's worth it IMO, and it means I don't have to buy old nintendo consoles to buy nintendo games. :) I can play all my old stuff on it too. Perfect for me and my firends. I just bring the wii and they just bring the games.

It's also very fun for 2 people or more, so go ahead and buy extra controllers. It's great for get togethers, party's, etc... Everyone seems to love the Wii.

EDIT: I remember playing Eye Toy for playstation a bit before I tried the Wii. Let me tell you, Eye Toy is terrible technology. That's something that doesn't always read what you do. I found the Wii technology to be very good at reading what you do.
