Widescreen problem

So i've finished making my movie in pro and im exporting it. I basically just want a nice widescreen movie. But what happens when i play it back is that a variety of problems occur on all the different settings. Either it doesn't stretch far enough or it does this other thing. I've used a fade in clip and sped up my clips and where i've done that it starts off in a smaller window then blows up to the widescreen. I knew it had to be something to do with the effects so i looked into intepolating and de-interlacing etc and nothing really worked too well.

All i want to do is make it preferabley a PAL with widescreen and not have it fluxtuating where i've added effects.

What pixel aspect ratio are you working in? Are you shooting 4:3 and trying to letterbox/crop? It shouldn't matter what effects and fades you are putting in; those things wouldn't change your video dimensions....UNLESS, you are scaling the clips and NOT locking the demensions down./ locking the aspect ratio.

When you're all done just export with the pixel ratio that your final product will be viewed on. e.g. If you shot widescreen (1.2) and are exporting for the web or computer, export square pixels (0.9)
