I'm using Vegas 6 and working in a 24p timeline, I shot footage with the Anamorphic Adapter with letterbox.
My question is when I color correct the footage, the effect also affects the black bars.
Meaning, say I add brightness to the footage, the black bars also becomes brighter. This is apparent when viewing the project after rendering on a T.V or Computer.
The widescreen project plays fine, the bars are light due to the added brightness effect, Every part of the T.V/computer is black accept the bars, it looks weird.
Maybe I can post a snapshot if some don't understand.
Is there anyway to avoid this. Can I just add the effect to the image and not have it affect the bars?
Since the bars are part of the picture because I shot in letterbox, I guest I'm stuck?
