Wide angle 20mm lens with Letus Extreme

Hi,

Has anyone had any experience with very wide angle lens and Letus 35mm adapters?
I have two 20mm lenses (old Zeiss Flektogon and Russian MIR-20M). Both do their job fine for analog photography, however, when hooked to digital camera focus problems arise
The reason for this has been discussed on some digital photography forums. Those lenses are not telecentric so the light rays falling onto the film/sensor are not parallel. Analog film is very thin so the adverse effects are not significant. However, digital SLR's sensors have significant thickness and additional glass so the fact that the light rays are not parallel causes problems.
I wonder how they would work with vibrating glass adapters such as Letus. Is the glass thick? I guess it is (otherwise it would break easily ;).
Thanks for any hints.

Hubert
