Why?

Why when ever I try to watch some and I say some quicktime H.264 files the video is very jerky and stops and starts after a few seconds?
The audio is fine but the video is jerky.
This only happens on some videos others it works fine and yes I have quicktime Pro purchased.

anyone here get horizontal tearing of the image when using quicktime.... i cant seem to solve that one...... i have 2gigs ram, 3.2ghtz processor, 256mb X600 RAdeon.... cant be that its not powerful enough? something is missing.. any think of an idea why?

I don't know if this will work for you or not. I used to have weird green pixelation show up anytime I was watching a QT movie. I updated my graphics card driver and it solved the problem.

Try VLC player. I find it plays a lot smoother and vids look a lot better with it. It's free.

i have VLC but it does horizontal tearing too.i thikn its a driver problem.
