Why we all use Vegas

You know, I've used Avid for about four years and have never had it crash on me, and when things have glitched, I've had no problem recovering everything. Vegas sounds intriguing, but I want to stick to what I know for now, which is Avid, and perfect my skillset on there.

That's cool. Everything translates across, and though AVID is undeniably more powerfull in major editing houses and farms, Vegas is great for a small outfit.

It's major selling point for me is the audio friendliness, and in specific, it's 5.1 surround mixing capabilites. I know programs like Nuendo, Pro Tools, and others are more high end industry standard for surround mixing, but Vegas is so damn easy, it's almost a vlaid surround mixer in itself.

i am a new vegas user, and i can say that i love/use it for 2 reasons
a) i have a pc and a notebook, i tested other nles to both of them and vegas was the only one that it didnt crash (my notebook has a shared video adapter, vegas has no problem with it)
b) it really unveals your fantasy to do different things, not just the usual
