I have been a member of this forum for over two years, since I bought my DVX-100. I visit several times a week on average, as any forum login records will show. I don't post a lot but do post when I think I have something meaningful to say. I offered my first DVX screen grabs some two years ago, after Hurricane Ivan ravaged the area in which I live. And since there are few occasions when I feel competent enough to dispense answers or advice, given the high level of knowledge and expertise of those frequenting this forum, I certainly try to ask intelligent questions, most recently in the Red camera forum. This is the first time I've ever posted in the Cafe forum, I think, which is explicitly defined as a place to "yap about whatever you want". I recalled that disjecta put together a great takeoff on the Sopranos intro segment a while back and that he is a big Sopranos fan, and I assumed there might be others here that also appreciate the Sopranos for the magnificent work of cinematic art that it is. So I thought I would inform such persons that I run a NON COMMERCIAL discussion forum for the Sopranos called The Chase Lounge, which I recently moved to my own domain and hosting.
This wasn't spam from some in and out poster or one hit wonder. This was a piece of information offered by a regular, 2+ year member of this community in a way that conformed to every posting guideline in evidence.
Would the moderator who removed it please explain what rule I violated and why other threads in this forum with links to sites of personal interest to those posters are allowed to stand?
