Why only one forum search per minute?

Why can you only do one forum search every minute? I could understand limiting how fast you could post (to limit spamming), but why limit the search?

This gets annoying fast when trying to lookup info. Especially since the forum won't search for two or three letter terms -- which are part of almost every topic here (ie DVX, HVX, DV, HD, SD, etc...)

Just my two cents.

probably has to due with clogging up the server, (i.e. Bandwidth)

p.s. I think you'd be better to just browse if you want to search terms like DVX and the such since you'd end up with 50,000 results...

I've had that happen, but Search is a wonderful thing. Worth the wait.
