Why Lectrosonics over others?

Greetings,
Firstly, i've only used Sennheiser Wireless systems and access to test systems in my area is very limited. So, to those who can comment, what makes Lectrosonics better than the rest? Is it the quality of sound? The quality of wireless signal? For the most part, the longest distance I've ever encountered the transmitter/receiver have been say only 30 yards away. So, what makes you pick Lectro over others?

Lectros are the industry standard for a reason. All Lectro makes are wireless systems. They are generally the most reliable, bulletproof and well constructed of almost anything you can buy without spending a lot more.

Where most systems are lightly constructed with some and possibly too many plastic parts, Lectros are more metal parts with more robust construction. Not sure if they still use them, but Lectro used to use mil-spec parts on their internals. Functionally, Lectros offer very advanced capability yet are pretty simple and easy to conform, channel scan and use.

I will be doing a large article in the next few months, comparing basically most of the wireless systems on the market and the Lectros will be included. If you work in TV and features, Lectro owns most of the market, they are that great.
