believe it or not: i bought the DVX100A seven weeks ago for euro 3050 and i am happy i did it despite the HVX200.
1. because i can work with the best sub-10.000 camera and use 25p. I can sell my "talent" and make myself a name with 25p here in my area where i am more or less alone using it. so when the HVX200 comes out whoever buys it and uses 25p...it will be old news to the clients!
2. i bought stuff for the DVX that i will be able to use on: dvxuser.com batteries, a formatt 4x4 mattebox (with 72mm adapter ring; will that be the same?), a glidecam 2000pro (i hope the HVX is not too heavy)
3. the HVX won´t be out until december here. so i would be stuck with my old Betacams until then.
now i only need to find out if the bayonet stays the same before i add 0.6 or 1.6 converters....
